Alexander ThorburnMCMEIKANOn the 23rd October 2024 at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, Alexander Thorburn McMeikan, (former BT Engineer), precious partner of Edith, beloved father of Michelle and Sarah, father-in-law to Ian and Chris, much loved "stepfather" to Kay, Kevin and Dawn, and so special Grandad to all the grandchildren.

Alex was formerly Head Gymnastic Coach at the Y.M.C.A. for 20 years, and a former player for local football teams.

He was a lovely, kind, "gentle giant" who we will love and miss forever.
